A Good Walk

May 15, 2020May 15, 2020 / Stephen / Leave a comment

“Few people know how to take a walk. The qualities are endurance, plain clothes, old shoes, an eye for nature, good humor, vast curiosity, good silence, and nothing too much.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson https://www.instagram.com/p/CAJlRTXjHqX/?igshid=afron4rc5mx9

A New Hobby

March 7, 2019October 14, 2019 / Stephen / Leave a comment

“The American war is over: but this is far from being the case with the American revolution. On the contrary, nothing but the first act of the great drama is closed. It remains yet to establish and perfect our new forms of government; and to prepare the principles, morals, and manners of our citizens, for these forms of government, after they are established and brought to perfection.” — Dr. Benjamin Rush, January 1787
